House sit Mount Melville

Mount Melville provides a grounded rhythm, where your daily routine with the family dog naturally extends into the bushland. Each morning, the winding trails of the Mount Melville Parklands beckon, offering a natural playground for pet exercise. The distinct scent of eucalypt fills the air, and the calls of native birds like honeyeaters accompany your steps, often leading to quiet lookouts with expansive views over Princess Royal Harbour. This setting ensures a pet's exercise needs are met effortlessly while connecting you directly with the area's natural charm. Beyond the immediate parklands, a short descent or drive will take you into Albany's heart. Friday mornings often feature a quieter pace for errands, perhaps a coffee at a local cafe on York Street. Come Saturday, the Albany Farmers Market bursts with local produce and artisan goods near the Anzac Peace Park; it’s an excellent spot to stock the fridge and chat with vendors, gathering provisions for the week ahead. For further outdoor pursuits, Middleton Beach is a brief drive away, offering sandy stretches for long walks or a refreshing dip in the Southern Ocean, a different coastal landscape from the harbour views. This encourages an unhurried lifestyle, allowing both you and your temporary companions to settle into a comfortable, nature-rich routine.
