House sit WOY WOY

Woy Woy welcomes a gentle daily rhythm, distinct from city life. Mornings here often begin with the sounds of local birdlife and the promise of a peaceful walk along the Brisbane Water foreshore. Dogs particularly enjoy the flat, open paths stretching from Austin Butler Reserve towards Anderson Park, where the air is fresh and pelicans patrol. After their exercise, a stop at a cafe along The Boulevarde for a flat white or a local pastry becomes a ritual; many offer outdoor seating perfect for a leashed companion. Afternoons invite a slower pace. Consider sourcing fresh fish and chips from a local shop near the water, enjoying them by the shore as boats drift past. For a change of scenery, the ferry from the wharf offers a pleasant ride across to Ettalong or Saratoga, a simple way to experience more of the peninsula's character without needing a car. These brief excursions are easily woven into the daily schedule, ensuring the household pets' needs for companionship and routine remain paramount. As dusk settles, the peninsular feel becomes more pronounced, with the waterside parks offering a quiet spot to unwind with a book or watch the sunset. Local markets appear on occasion, providing opportunities to discover artisan goods or fresh produce. Everything needed for the household and pets, from groceries to vet services, is conveniently located within a short drive or walk, ensuring a comfortable, self-sufficient stay. This unhurried existence allows for mindful engagement with your temporary home and its furry residents.
