House sit EVANS HEAD

Life in Evans Head moves to the rhythm of the tides and the morning fog rolling off the Richmond River. Most mornings begin with a slow stroll along the coastal walking tracks or a quiet coffee on the main strip before the heat settles in. You will find that locals gravitate toward the river mouth for fishing or the shaded patches of the local parks. When looking after the home, you might find yourself following the same gentle patterns as the owners, perhaps taking the dog for a long walk along the shoreline or keeping an eye on the garden as the sea breeze shifts. Saturdays often revolve around the local markets, where fresh produce and handmade goods define the pace. Food here is unpretentious, centered on fresh seafood and small-batch bakery finds. If you need to run errands, the small township offers everything essential without the noise of a city. This is a place where the primary responsibility is simply maintaining the quiet stillness of a coastal sanctuary.
