House sit CAMPERDOWN
Assignment Requirements
Our cats have automatic feeders, an automatic water fountain, and a self-cleaning litter box, so their daily care mainly involves checking that everything is working properly, topping up food, water, and litter when needed, and spending quality time with them.
The automatic litter box can be a little tricky to empty and clean, so the sitter will need to be comfortable learning how to use it and replacing the litter when required. The model can be found on Amazon as the OROMVO Automatic Self-Cleaning Litter Box.
We want to be completely honest that our cats are very attached to us and can be nervous around new people. They may be unsettled, meow frequently, or make noise during the first few nights after we leave. For this reason, we are looking for someone who has previous experience with nervous or anxious cats and who is patient, calm, and understanding while they adjust.
They are 100% indoor cats and must never be allowed outside unsupervised. They cannot go onto the balconies unless the sitter is directly supervising them. The only outdoor area they are allowed to use is the enclosed upstairs patio connected to the second bedroom.
They are VERY affectionate once they feel comfortable and LOVE having someone around. We believe they will settle more easily because they will remain in their own home, but the sitter should be prepared to give them time, reassurance, and plenty of company during the first few days.
