Assignment Requirements

Hi, my partner, Martin and I have 8.6 acres of rainforest retreat in the beautiful Mooloolah Valley, Sunshine Coast. I am a teacher and Martin is a pastry chef. We are looking for someone to look after our fur and feather babies. They consist of two indoor cats, one large, lazy outdoor dog, 5 chooks and 3 baby goats. We will work to wean the goats off of milk before we leave; however, if you would still like to give them an odd bottle - you're more than welcome to!

Our house is tucked away from the main road so if peace and tranquillity suits you; enjoy the deck, take the private track to Ewen Maddock Dam or play some bare foot bowls at the Country Club 2kms down the road.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Ali and Martin.

Mooloolah Valley Sunshine Coast, Queensland
Suburb Insights
Living in Mooloolah Valley offers a slower rhythm that contrasts sharply with the coastal rush just a short drive away. You will likely find yourself waking to the sound of birdsong rather than traffic, settling into a routine shaped by the lush, rolling hills and the surrounding hinterland. Morning walks often lead toward the local trails or a quiet stroll through the leafy streets where neighbors wave from their verandas. When the need for caffeine or a fresh loaf arises, a quick trip to the local village strip provides a grounded sense of belonging. Caring for pets here feels intuitive, as the abundance of shaded gardens and quiet creek-side paths provides ample space for long, meandering walks. While the valley maintains its rural character, the proximity to the coast means weekend trips to the beach are effortless. Tending to a home in this pocket of the Sunshine Coast means embracing a quiet, observant way of life, where the primary responsibility is simply keeping pace with the natural surroundings.
