hi, we have two dogs that love a daily walk and a cuddle and thats pretty much it. Our pole home at Stanwell Park ( beach side suburb on south coast of NSW) is easy maintain, open and has 2 bedroom, study, internet, aircon, massive deck and cooking facilities in and outdoors.

we hope to travel to adelaide for christmas so if someone could come and look after Harry (15yr old lab) and Frankie (5 yr old Weinmarnar) that would be awesome.

About the Area

STANWELL PARK Illawarra, New South Wales
Suburb Insights
Stanwell Park operates at an unhurried pace, ideal for establishing calm routines with your animal companions. Mornings begin with the ocean's murmur and birdsong from the escarpment. A sunrise stroll with the resident dog along the beach or a local park path offers an invigorating start; sand cool, air fresh. This gentle rhythm helps pets quickly adapt to a new caregiver, fostering trust easily. Following your walk, locals gather for coffee. Loaf at Stanwell Park or The Beach Kiosk serve excellent flat whites, offering a pleasant stop before pet breakfasts. These casual spots reflect the village's daily flow. Basic necessities are at a small local grocery. The train station, a short walk from most homes, links to Sydney or Wollongong for broader needs. Afternoons invite gentle exploration. A walk towards Bald Hill provides expansive coastal views without strenuous effort. Find a shaded bench in Stanwell Park Reserve for a quiet read while the dog relaxes nearby. Evenings settle early, with sunset painting the escarpment. Preparing dinner in your temporary home becomes a quiet ritual, often punctuated by a napping pet's sigh.
