House sit Trentham

Morning walks with your charge often lead down quiet, tree-lined streets, or perhaps onto a gentler track within the surrounding Wombat State Forest. The crisp air and the scent of eucalypt become part of your daily routine here, offering ample opportunity for both you and your temporary companions to stretch your legs. This rhythm sets a relaxed pace, contrasting sharply with urban life. Fuel your days with a flat white and sourdough from the General Store, a genuine hub where local news circulates. The Plough Hotel provides hearty meals in the evening, often featuring regional produce. For your weekly grocery shop, a trip to nearby Woodend or Daylesford ensures a fuller pantry, though Trentham’s small local grocer covers the essentials and last-minute needs. Evenings settle into a deep stillness, the sounds of forest creatures the most prominent noise. This calm makes settling into someone else's home easier, providing a backdrop for quiet evenings with a book and a contented pet by your side. Life in Trentham encourages a genuine slowing down, a chance to appreciate uncomplicated days amidst a welcoming, unhurried community.
