Summer House-sit in Forestville, Sydney

Forestville, NSW | 29 December 2026 – 16 January 2027

We're heading away over the summer holidays and are looking for a reliable, caring house-sitters to keep our beautiful little Schnoodle, Boojz, company while we're away.

Boojz is our gorgeous 2-year-old Schnoodle, weighing just 7kg. She's gentle, affectionate, friendly with children and an easy little dog to look after. Her needs are simple: a daily walk, food, plenty of affection and, most importantly, some good company.

Boojz is very easygoing and perfectly happy being left at home while you head out and enjoy the day. She's an affectionate little dog who loves having people around, so we're ideally looking for someone who'll enjoy spending time at home with her too. We're hoping to find someone who'll enjoy a mix of getting out and about and relaxing at home with Boojz

Our home is in Forestville, a peaceful, family-friendly neighbourhood on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

• The beautiful Northern Beaches are around 14 minutes away by car.

• Local cafes and a supermarket just a 5-minute walk away.

• Plenty of nearby parks, green spaces and bushwalking trails.

• A quiet, leafy neighbourhood with easy access to everything Sydney has to offer.

• A single-level home with no internal stairs and easy access throughout with a pool and outdoor patio. We're currently undertaking some external renovations, so part of the garden is temporarily fenced off. However, the pool and outdoor patio remain available to enjoy, and no building work will take place during your stay. There's no gardening, maintenance or other household work required. We're simply looking for someone to enjoy the home, keep it tidy and take good care of Boojz.

Who We're Looking For

Ideally, we'd love to find a trustworthy, experienced house-sitters with excellent references who genuinely love dogs.

Someone who enjoys a relaxed home environment, is happy spending time with Boojz and will treat both her and our home with the same care they would their own.

In return, you'll have a comfortable base to enjoy summer on Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches.

If this sounds like the perfect summer house sit for you, we'd love to hear from you.

Suburb Insights

Morning light filters through the tall gums as the suburb wakes to a quiet, leafy rhythm. Most days begin with a slow stroll toward the local café strips or a wander through the shaded pathways that connect the residential pockets to nearby parklands. If you are watching a dog, these winding walking tracks provide ample opportunities for exploration without the noise of heavy traffic. The pace here feels deliberate, centered around the natural surroundings rather than a frantic urban schedule. Afternoons often involve a walk toward the local shops for fresh produce or a quiet afternoon reading on a sun-drenched veranda. While the area lacks a central train station, the nearby bus links offer a steady way to reach larger hubs, allowing you to maintain a sense of independence while staying tucked away in the greenery. Caring for a home here feels less like a chore and more like settling into a peaceful, slow-moving retreat where the primary task is simply enjoying the stillness.
