We are looking for a couple to live in long term and look after the air Bnb section of the house while we are living away. “Wombat Cottage” is a character off-grid stone cottage that is tucked away in the hills in Frankford Tasmania. Far enough away to be peaceful and quiet, yet close enough for the convenience of commuting (45 minutes to either Launceston or Devonport, 15 minutes to Beaconsfield or Exeter). Recently renovated to a high standard with new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms, new floorboards and carpets, and freshly painted and double glazing throughout, Wombat Cottage is very cosy year round. We are looking for a couple who would like to experience the off-grid lifestyle in exchange for maintaining the yard and house cleaning duties for the separate air Bnb up to once a week. This would suit a couple who enjoy nature and the outdoors, gardening and know how to use a chainsaw for getting firewood. A high standard of cleaning would be required also. No pet sitting is required however the property comes with a couple of laying hens and a friendly rooster.
