Hello, we are needing someone to look after our 23 chickens, one rooster, 6 baby guinea fowl, 2 dogs & garden.
Our home is a 1920`s modernized stone farm house with built on extensions, one shared family large bathroom, shower recess and rooms are quite large and comfortable. Having comfort of free unlimited WiFi, pay TV, 3D 55" TV with sound system, use of computers and internet at your leisure. Ducted Evaporative Air Conditioner.
Our home has 3 resident bedrooms, shared helper and family large bathroom and shower recess, can provide towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner for bathing, our rooms are quite large and comfortable.
We have a built on/extension side room for singles (visitors bedroom 4), linen provided, own personal door access from outside to this room, computer available, small fridge and room next to bedroom is a small weights gym for helpers to use at their leisure for fitness. If you prefer we also have a cozy 18ft caravan with a comfortable queen size bed with all linen provided, own fridge/freezer, with coffee & Tea making facilities, pod coffee espresso machine with selection of flavored pods, large TV & DVD player, Built in Bluetooth Stereo, refrigerated filtered water dispenser, snacks, vanity station, heating & air conditioning, complimentary robes & slippers for both accommodation preferences.
The house is obviously for your leisure, and we hope that you make yourself comfortable here, there is a spare room in the house also if you don't mind sleeping in an area with some things of one of our Sons, as he is storing them in this room for the time.
Our town Melrose is mountain bike central area, with approx 100km of single track trails in the foothills of Mount Remarkable and nearby. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking, photographers to get great shots and to get out and enjoy the fresh air at Melrose.
Explore the town by foot or bike, as both the Heysen and Mawson walking trails pass through town. We have a historical museum to explore, local wineries and cellar door purchases, great dining places and very friendly people that will make you feel at home.

Just a few photos from inside the house. Lounge, Dinning, passage and part of the bathroom which is very large.
We have one rooster, named king (for obvious reasons) He has never attached anyone but he is protective over his girls.
Tippy is one of our border collie dogs, she is 5 years old.
We have 5 adult guinea fowl, that free range throughout the day and are called to put into the chicken coop at night.

Singles spare room with separate outside door access, gym/weights training room attached to room through center door. Gym equipment also available on the porch outside of room.

We have 6 nearly six week old guinea fowl keets, hand reared and hatched from eggs. We are still in need of keeping a close eye on them throughout the day.
23 chickens are let out during the day and put back at night. We exercise our dogs at night before we feed them between 6pm to 7pm.
