House sit Enmore

Stepping out onto a leafy Enmore street with your canine companion, you’ll quickly settle into the local rhythm. Mornings often begin with a stroll through Enmore Park, where other locals exercise their dogs, or a walk towards the Addison Road Community Centre grounds. Afterwards, grab a coffee from one of the independent cafes dotting Enmore Road; many offer water bowls outside for thirsty pets. This area carries a relaxed, unpretentious feel, making daily routines with your temporary charges straightforward. Weekends bring the Addison Road Community Centre Markets, a Sunday fixture where you can pick up fresh produce and observe the neighbourhood gathering. Evenings often mean a quiet meal from a local eatery or simply enjoying the back garden of your temporary home. Buses run frequently along Enmore Road, connecting you to Newtown station for easy city access, though much of daily life here unfolds comfortably on foot. You'll find Enmore a welcoming place for a temporary stay, less frantic than its immediate neighbour, but rich in local character. The slower pace allows for genuine connection with daily life, whether that's recognising faces at the dog park or chatting with shopkeepers. It's an opportunity to truly live like a local, settling into the familiar comfort of a quiet street after an afternoon exploring with a pet.
