Assignment Requirements

Hi, we will be on holiday in January and we are looking for someone who can mind the house and take care of our 7 year old Boxer dog, Shelby. Very little maintenance on the house or yard, just a daily walk for Shelby, popping the wheelie bins out on a Sunday, and the occasional watering of indoor plants. Thanks for your consideration!

About the Area

CITY BEACH Perth, Western Australia

Suburb Insights

Living in City Beach offers a rhythmic, coastal pace that aligns naturally with a pet-focused routine. Mornings often begin with long, slow walks along the shoreline or through the shaded paths of the local coastal reserves, where the air stays cool until midday. These stretches of sand and scrub provide ample space for dogs to explore without the frantic energy of the inner city. Most residents find a quiet comfort in the local cafe strips along West Coast Highway, which serve as reliable spots to grab a coffee before settling back into the calm of a quiet home. The suburb functions as a peaceful sanctuary where the primary focus remains on the immediate surroundings. Afternoon strolls can transition from the beach to the local parks, making it easy to maintain a consistent exercise schedule for any resident animals. While the nearby train lines provide a straightforward link to the city, the lifestyle here feels intentionally removed from that rush. Life revolves around the tides, the seasonal changes in the bushland, and the steady, predictable quiet of a seaside residence.
