Assignment Requirements

Hi 👋 I’m Tammie and my partner Duncan. We also have a 3 year old son called Lachlan. Our eldest baby is an American Akita female called Buddha, she’s a big dog weighs 40kg. She is 4 years old, I’d say she’s more like a cat than a typical dog 🐈 comes to you when she wants pats and love.

In saying that, she loves having people around her hence we would love a dog lover to come and stay and give her plenty of love while we are gone.

She loves being home with people, loves walks, car for adventures/drives, but she needs to be walked, once a day is more than enough, if you want to do more that would be amazing.

We are all heading to New Zealand so you will have the whole house to use and a car if you need one. It’s a 3 bedroom home 2 bathrooms double garage, 2 lounge areas plus outdoor area and seperate undercover alfresco.

We would love someone to come take care of our fur baby and love her like we do.

She is more a people person she’s not really a dog park lover. She is happy to stay at home if you have to head out but she is always super happy once you come home.

It would suit someone who is very confident with big dogs, we are only 10 minutes from a beautiful beach called Seaford in Victoria.

If you’re looking for a beach house for a few weeks then look no further. Coles, coffee shop, takeaways across the road. Mornington Pennisular is filled with wineries, brewery’s, hikes, walks, beach and delicious eateries plus a ton of family activities.

We have a 3 year old boy so if you are a young family we have plenty of toys and a trampoline.

The house has enough room outside to play and we also have a secure backyard for the dog.

Undercover outdoor alfresco area with BBQ, lounge, outdoor TV, plus infrared Sauna.

We only moved here 12 months ago, so we are still finding things we have not explored before.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. Open to answer any questions, thank you so much for stopping in, we can’t wait to hear from you. Tammie and Duncan

About the Area

SKYE Melbourne, Victoria
Suburb Insights
Mornings in Skye unfold with a gentle quiet, setting a calm rhythm for the day. Your companion animals likely anticipate their first stroll; local footpaths offer an easy loop, or perhaps a visit to the Skye Recreation Reserve provides open space for supervised play. Observing their usual routine helps maintain their comfort, easing their adjustment to new faces. This initial shared activity establishes a foundation for the day's calm, allowing both you and your charges to settle into the suburban pace. During daylight hours, the home becomes a tranquil hub. With the pets contentedly napping or observing the quiet street from a window, you might attend to household tasks or enjoy a book. For any pet essentials, a short drive to Cranbourne accesses pet supply stores and veterinary services, ensuring everything needed is close at hand. The neighbourhood's general calm means minimal disturbances, letting your furry friends relax deeply. As the afternoon light softens, consider another gentle walk, perhaps a different circuit through the residential streets, greeting neighbours who often stroll their own companions. This quiet connection to the area’s rhythm extends into the evening, where familiar sounds and settled routines reassure the pets. Skye provides a backdrop for unhurried home life, where the focus remains on the well-being of the animals and maintaining their peaceful environment, far from urban bustle.
