House sit Mount Coolum

Life in Mount Coolum settles into a slower rhythm, dictated more by the tide and the shadows of the mountain than a clock. Morning rituals often involve a coffee from a local strip before heading toward the coastline. Walking the Mount Coolum coastal track offers a steady incline for exercise, while the nearby beaches provide a quiet space to clear your head. Staying in a local home means finding your own pocket of calm, perhaps watching the sunset from a backyard while your host's dogs lounge nearby. The local food scene leans toward casual, quality nourishment rather than formal dining. Weekend mornings are best spent wandering through nearby markets or picking up fresh produce for a home-cooked meal. Since the area feels tucked away, most errands are completed via short drives through leafy streets, though the pace remains intentionally relaxed. Caring for a home here feels less like a chore and more like an invitation to observe the quiet interplay between the hinterland and the sea.
