I have 5 beagles maybe 3 by this time. We feed our dogs with a bone early morning. Dry dog food at lunch. Panda our old dog is sometimes incontinent. So sometimes might need mopping up. usually only over night? They have a large, enclosed backyard, so don't need walks unless you want to that is. We are very close to shops, walking distance only a couple of blocks on flat ground. this is the school holidays for NSW. It is also very cold in Armidale at this time. You are welcome to mow lawn if needed but not necessary
