We are going away for 5 to 6 months from May to October 2023 and require a house sitter for our home in Beechworth (north-east Victoria). Beechworth is an historic gold-mining town with lots of character and great cafes/restaurants. It's close to larger regional centres like Albury/Wodonga or Wangaratta. It is a 3 hour drive from Melbourne.

Our home has recently been renovated and we have a lovely garden which wouldn't need too much work during the cooler months that we will be away. The back lawn would need mowing every so often and pot plants watered.

Most importantly, we have a 12 year old kelpie-cross dog named Gus who will need lots and lots of pats. Gus is in very good health and is an extremely happy, friendly and easy going dog. He sleeps inside and would require a decent walk every day. We would prefer no other dogs - Gus is friendly, but he's happy with his own space.

This is a fairly long house sitting job and we would need a commitment that you'd be able to go the whole length of time. Let us know if you're interested - we'd love to chat further!
