We are looking for a dog loving person or couple to take care of our home and our two six year old chihuahuas, Lucy and Chuckie, while we are away. We live in regional NSW, about 100kms from Sydney Australia, in the Southern Highlands, known for its lovely landscape, great restaurants, wines and cool climate. Winter here can certainly be fresh, although we've yet to see snow in the six years we've lived here. There is a gas fireplace and ducted heating to keep the house warm and it's very well insulated.

We have a five bedroom house, but both work from home so two of these rooms are offices, which we can make available if you are working from home. NBN Wifi is pretty stable with speeds of approx 40-50mps download.

We're on half an acre, which is enough for the dogs to get a run around, but they do love getting out into the world for a good sniff, roll and run. They're very easy maintenance. We live on a battle-axe block and it's very private.

Shops and restaurants are all 5-10 minutes drive away. A car could potentially be made available for getting around locally.

Looking after the dogs is our number 1 priority. The garden may require a bit of weeding or lawn mowing, although the growing season will be over by then so it won't be constant mantainence.
