House sit ELLIOTT HEADS

Elliott Heads unfolds at a leisurely rhythm, defined by the tidal push and pull of the Kolan River meeting the Coral Sea. Daily life here often begins with an unhurried stroll along the foreshore paths, an ideal stretch for your temporary canine companion to explore the morning air. Beyond the main beach, you'll find calmer waters near the river mouth, inviting for a gentle paddle or a quiet sit-down watching the local pelicans. A reliable routine often includes pausing at The Beach Millennium Cafe, where you can grab a flat white to enjoy while observing the gentle activity on the water, a simple pleasure that fits well into a pet-sitting schedule. Evenings here encourage unwinding rather than seeking bustling nightlife. Consider picking up fresh local catch, preparing a simple meal to enjoy on the verandah, listening to the evening sounds. The nearby Elliott Heads Park provides open green space for a ball toss or a shaded picnic, should your charge enjoy more energetic play. Look for the local kitesurfers on windy days, their colourful sails dotting the horizon, or take a short drive north towards Mon Repos to watch the seasonal turtle nesting activity, a quiet, profound experience unique to this coastline. This quiet coastal living offers a calm backdrop for caring for your temporary home and pets.
