Assignment Requirements

We have 2 x high energy cattle dogs, one crossed with GSP. 1 cat, 2 sheep, 7 chickens including 1 rooster, a tank full of low maintenance fish. All animals are friendly.

For short stays, dogs will exercise themselves on the farm, fed twice a day. For long stays they will need walks/outings. We usually take them to feed the other animals and they play with the neighbours dogs there. They are inside/outside dogs. Can be left outside if they are wet or dirty. Dry them off before bed if needed so they can come inside to sleep.

The rest of the animals are at another house, a few minutes down the road by car. This is my FILs house, he is away, caring for his sick sister.

Cat and chickens are fed twice a day. Sheep are fed once a day. You can hand feed the sheep if you like or pour their food out for them. Collect eggs from chickens every morning. You can eat these eggs or put them in the fridge. There is usually anywhere between 1-5 eggs. The fish are fed usually every 2 or 3 days.

Henry the cat roams in the day and is put inside at night. He is a lovely, friendly boy who does not bite or scratch.

There is an IGA 10 mins away in Wondai. The bigger shopping centre is in Kingaroy approx 30mins drive. You will need a car out here in the country.
