Assignment Requirements

We have some pot plants that need watering and some animals that need care.

2 Horses - water only, however you need to travel through the horse paddock to get to the house, so we need someone who feels confident around big animals.

5 chickens - feed and water daily. Collect the eggs at least once per week (you're free to keep them!).

2 fish tanks - feed daily.

2 Burmese cats - feed and water daily. They are indoor/outdoor cats so the litter will need to be checked each day (although some days they do not use it because they go outside). And they need plenty of love!

Maroon West Moreton, Queensland
Suburb Insights
Maroon's rhythm is set by the undulating landscape and the expansive quiet of the Scenic Rim. Mornings begin with the crisp air and sunlight over the hills, ideal for pets to stretch their legs along the property's perimeter or the nearest unsealed lane. This is a place where a dog's morning sniff-a-thon feels unhurried, far from any traffic's hum. Days unfold gently; while your furry charges nap in a shady spot on the veranda, you might drive a short distance north to Boonah for essential provisions, a proper coffee, or any pet supplies, embracing the scenic journey as part of the day's practicalities. Evenings here are painted with the sounds of the bush – the chorus of frogs after rain, the distant call of an owl, the rustle of leaves. Establishing a secure nighttime routine for the animals and the home is straightforward, supported by the area’s inherent tranquility. Living in Maroon means adapting to a calm, natural flow; pet care integrates seamlessly with this pace, allowing ample time for quiet companionship and maintaining the serene order of the household.
