I’m looking for experienced, confident house sitters to care for my two much-loved dogs for around 5 weeks.

They are a Golden Retriever (sweet, food-obsessed, as all Goldens are) and a Groodle with a lot of personality. She’s very energetic and can be quite anxious. If I had $2 for every time someone said I “have my hands full” while walking them both, my mortgage would’ve been paid off years ago. She does bark at home, but she settles quickly with calm, confident handling. Because of this, dog experience is essential, especially with strong dogs that pull on the lead.

Both dogs are very loving, social and people-focused, and they need daily walks and consistent routines.

While I’m away, there will likely be another couple living in the house, however house sitters will have exclusive use of the main bedroom with ensuite, and shared access to the rest of the home which has two living areas.

The house is in a quiet area, close to cafés, restaurants, shops and public transport, making it a comfortable base for the right sitters.

This sit would suit dog-savvy people who enjoy active dogs, are calm and confident handlers, and are happy to give plenty of affection (and resist the Golden’s food-begging eyes).
