My cat adopted me after being abandoned by someone else. It obviously had lived feral for sometime. She is quite tame but still spends whole nights out in winter, if it is not raining, and all of summer outside. She comes for biscuits in morning and a sachet of meat in evening. If I am home all day she sometimes wants to come in and sleep by the heater and on wet days and nights she may choose to stay in and sleep on the end of my bed. She has a great character, likes being patted but not picked up. I installed a cat door recently so she knows how to get out when she wants but has not yet learnt how to come in it. So she relies on me opening the glass screen door when I can see her there (cat door in front door at entry). I'm going away from 11th to 22nd of August and because it is cold and wet then I hope to find a house sitter who will feed her and let her in at night, if she chooses. If this could suit any one let me know. Not someone with their own pet and preferably female as the cat seems to be scared of my male friends.
