We are going to be away from Thurs 19 March (AM), returning to Emerald on Tues 24 March (midday onwards) while away in the Barossa for our 10th anniversary. We're looking for someone to house/dog sit for us while we're away.

We have two beautiful and cattle dogs who we tend to not like to put in the kennel for any more than a night or two max. They are fun and energetic - the red one - Rango - LOVES chasing the tennis ball and you will immediately be his friend if you throw it for him. The blue one - Holly - is a little quieter and takes a little bit of getting to know, but ultimately is very sweet. They both love their daily walks/runs, so we are looking for someone that is fit and able to take the two of them for regular walks (although every day is not necessary), and of course to give them a bit of love and feed them in our absence.

Our house is a modern 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom place in a quiet street with everything you would need including a BBQ and big back yard.. with cows just over the back fence. We have a huge TV if you're more of an indoors person, and Netflix. You would have full use of our car while in town, so you can get around and see the local sights.

Emerald is a smaller country town, but has enough to offer someone for a few days stay - we have a few smaller shopping centres (with Woolies and Coles), a movie theatre, a few 'country' pubs, and a couple of nice restaurants. The local dam is 20 mins away.

Understand we're a bit out of the way, and we're only away for 5 days, so for the right person, we would consider contributing to the cost of your flights if necessary.
