We have a beautiful home in Braddon and are willing for a single person or couple to stay and care for our home while we're away. Open to children or bringing pets by negotiation.

Daily tasks are to:

Feed, water and walk 2 Kelpie dogs in nearby Haig Park.

Feed and water cat and 3 chickens.

Feed fish.

Water garden. Mow the lawns if possible.

Keep the house tidy.

That's about it.

A couple of bedding options for the housesitter.

It's a 20 minute walk to the centre of Canberra where there is a large shopping mall and ample restaurants and bars. It's also in Close proximity to Ainslie and Dickson. There's also the Braddon Supermarket and bottle shop close by.

It's close to the tram for public transport. There are also paid scooters in the area for easy transport or you can always call a cab if you don't drive. Excellent walking or cycling paths.

There's a dog park a few minutes drive away as well as various parks and it's a beautiful leafy area. A harness is provided for the younger Kelpie who can tend to be leash reactive and excited by other dogs, as well as other leash options and a dual dog leash adapter.

We will leave the house stocked with essentials for the housesitter.
