House sit BUNINYONG

Settling into Buninyong feels like stepping into a slower, more deliberate version of regional Victoria. The village pulse revolves around the historic main street, where the scent of fresh sourdough and roasted coffee often drifts from quiet storefronts. Mornings are best spent walking the gentle trails around Lake Buninyong, a peaceful ritual that pairs well with a morning stroll alongside a resident dog. The pace here is rhythmic and unhurried, making it an ideal setting for those who find comfort in the quiet tasks of pet care and home maintenance. Local life revolves around seasonal shifts and small, meaningful gatherings. You might find yourself browsing local produce or catching a quiet afternoon at a nearby pub after a long walk through the surrounding bushland. While the town maintains its heritage charm, the proximity to Ballarat provides easy access to larger amenities via the nearby transport links. Most days, however, the highlight remains the stillness of the surrounding hills and the simple pleasure of a long walk on a crisp morning.
