House sit CURRUMBIN

Your Currumbin mornings begin with the distinct call of lorikeets, signaling the day's gentle start. Many residents guide their dogs along the Currumbin Creek promenade, an easy, flat walk offering views of kayakers and paddleboarders. This path provides ample space for leashed exercise before the heat builds. Alternatively, the beach itself, particularly south of the Alley, offers stretches of firm sand for an invigorating stroll with your charge, minding any time restrictions for dogs. After the morning walk, a short walk inland from the creek leads to the local grocer and a scattering of cafes like The Salt Mill, perfect for a coffee overlooking the ocean, or Pasture & Co, nestled further back in a more garden setting. Stocking up on necessities is straightforward; most essential shops are within a comfortable walking radius for daily provisions. The pace here encourages a slower approach, less about rushing and more about absorbing the coastal air. Afternoons often invite further exploration. A climb up to Elephant Rock rewards with expansive ocean views, a quiet spot to observe the surfers at Currumbin Alley. For a different scene, the laneways around Duringan Street reveal independent art spaces and small businesses, fostering a sense of community beyond the immediate beachfront. Evenings are typically quiet; a final twilight walk along the beach as the sky turns shades of orange and pink feels like a natural conclusion to the day, ensuring any pet is settled after a full day of sea air and gentle activity.
