Plenty of parking available for caravan. We are 30 minutes from Bundaberg.

Help yourselves to any veges in the vege garden.

If you needed to go away for a few days or a week Steel, the cat, can be booked into the local cattery and the house locked up.

About the Area

ELECTRA Wide Bay-Burnett, Queensland
Suburb Insights
Electra offers a serene, spacious environment for your house-sitting stay. Daily routines here are grounded in the quiet of country living, providing ample opportunity for pets to settle into a calm rhythm. Mornings often begin with a stroll along local dirt roads, where the air is clear and the only sounds are birdsong and perhaps the distant lowing of cattle. This unhurried pace suits most canine companions, allowing them to explore without urban distractions, before you return to the comfort of your temporary home. When you seek a change of scenery, the coast is a short drive away. Elliott Heads, roughly fifteen minutes east, provides long stretches of beach for an invigorating walk. Supervise pets closely here, mindful of local regulations. Further north, Bargara offers a beachfront esplanade and a few cafes, providing a relaxed spot for a morning coffee before heading back to Electra to tend to your charges. Weekends might involve a trip into Bundaberg, about twenty minutes inland. There, you can visit the local farmers' market for fresh produce or pick up any household needs. It’s a practical excursion that breaks up the week and allows a taste of regional life. Returning to Electra means re-embracing the tranquility, settling back into the evening routine with your housemate pets, surrounded by the open space characteristic of this Queensland locality.
