House sit ALSTONVILLE

Living in Alstonville requires a reliable vehicle, as the town serves as a leafy hub tucked between the coast and the hinterland mountains. Most daily errands, like grabbing groceries at the local Woolworths or picking up supplies, are easily managed within the main township. If you are looking for a morning walk with a resident dog, the nearby walking tracks offer shade and a slower pace of life. While the town feels quiet, you are only a short drive from the Byron Bay coastline or the steep, scenic trails of Wollumbin. Getting around involves navigating the Bruxner Highway to reach larger shopping centers or heading toward Ballina for more extensive services. Coffee runs are straightforward, with several small strips of cafes offering a local atmosphere for a mid-morning break. Staying in a local home means adapting to the subtropical rhythm, where early morning strolls are best before the humidity rises. Relying on your own transport ensures you can balance pet care responsibilities with easy access to nearby beaches and markets.
