We are leaving for a short trip and have a nine year old dog that we do not want to put into a boarding kennel. We usually bring her to a dog sitter when we travel, but our regular sitter is unavailable. Our dog is very easy to look after; she is calm and friendly, but she is used to companionship and can’t be left alone more than 5-6 hours.
