House sit PALMWOODS

Arriving in Palmwoods, you'll find the town's practical core along its main thoroughfare. An IGA supermarket and local pharmacy are readily available in the village centre for immediate needs, ensuring pet food or daily provisions are easily managed. Local shops also offer specific items. For early morning dog walks, the quiet residential streets provide ample opportunity for loops, often connecting to smaller community parks where local pets socialise. The pace here is unhurried, suiting a routine with your charges. After a morning stroll with the pets, consider a visit to one of the local cafes; several line the main street, offering a convenient stop for a coffee before settling back into home duties. These spots also serve as a good reference point for navigating the immediate area. Vet services are available within a short drive, either locally or in neighbouring towns, so familiarize yourself with their locations upon arrival. While Palmwoods boasts a train station, providing a direct link north to Nambour or south to Brisbane, navigating daily necessities and broader excursions often benefits from access to a vehicle. This allows for trips to larger supermarkets in nearby Woombye or Nambour, more extensive hinterland walking trails a short drive away, or coastal beaches within a 25-minute drive. A car also offers convenience for transporting pets to appointments or for longer, more adventurous outings beyond the immediate town limits, such as a visit to a dog-friendly market further afield.
