I endeavour to stock the fridge & cupboard with treats for you, to show my gratitude for helping out with a day’s notice.

The flights & accomodation have literally quadrupled, making it next to impossible to take my two toy poodles with me.

Up until Covid, they were both frequent flyers 🐩 ✈️ 🐩

Merci is 8 yrs old & Peppa is 7.

We live in a two-storey, 3 bedroom townhouse with young male Japanese flatmates.

Our flatmates all work, are clean

& have lovely manners.

My bedroom, where you will stay, has its own en-suite, TV, there’s wifi and I am putting together a brand new chest of drawers for you.

Merci & Peppa are quite happy to go across the road to a little park area or even a short walk up & down the street, once or twice a day. I always keep them on the lead.

They only need a little exercise, it’s more the stimulation they like, as they are an intelligent breed. Once or twice a day is fine, weather permitting.

On rainy days, I have puppy pads for the bathroom or if they go out the back yard, I keep a towel handy for their wet paws.

When I go out I leave the tv on & a light upstairs & downstairs. And the last thing I do is give them ‘a present’ a duck or kangaroo treat & tell them I’m just going to the shop to buy them some more.

On wet days, they don't mind fetching their tiny ‘squeaky balls or toys,’ but that's only for a sort period, then they’re happy to snuggle up in bed.

They have one meal a day & the second is biscuits.

I will, of course, have all this prepared for you.

I’ll bath & blow-dry them, to keep their care to a minimum for you.

I’m going to Adelaide for 2 weeks to visit my daughter & twin granddaughters & as we were waiting to see if the twins were changing schools, my flights were only just booked. And then my daughter’s mother-in-law ended up in ICU (again).

Her health has been declining the last few years, it’s really been touch & go.

If you’ve looked after poodles before, you’ll find Merci & Peppa are just the same.

The living area is downstairs and you will have your own fridge. I have a larger 2-door fridge for my flatmates.
