Assignment Requirements

My beautiful old boy, Cess, needs someone to feed him while I'm away over Australia Day weekend. He needs to be fed once in the morning and once at night and his water to be topped up if needed (he has a large fountain so it's unlikely this will need refilling).

He generally keeps to himself the rest of the time just sleeping on the bed or couch, with a quick 5 minute play time at night.

Clean litter box as needed too please.

I would also love it if you could spray my 4 plants with water each morning to keep the leaves hydrated 😊

About the Area

Thornbury Melbourne, Victoria
Suburb Insights
Morning routines in Thornbury usually begin with the low hum of the Upfield train line or a walk toward High Street. You can carry a dog for a long stroll through Merri Creek Trail, where the paths wind through native bushland and offer a quiet escape from the suburban grid. This green corridor connects seamlessly to the local café strips, making it easy to grab a coffee before heading back to the house to top up water bowls. Afternoons often settle into a slower pace around the local parks or the organic stalls of the nearby markets. Most daily errands happen on foot, navigating the leafy side streets that link residential homes to the bustling retail hubs. Living here feels less about driving and more about walking to a local bakery or meeting neighbors near the library. When tending to a home, you will find the rhythm is dictated by these easy, walkable loops and the steady flow of the tram lines.
