We are away for close to four months but only need pets to be looked after for the first 2-3 weeks of that time. We have two sphinx cats and a Spanish Water Dog, all females. Our dog only needs sitting for one week but she needs time to establish a relationship. Our house is 3 bedrooms, very spacious and has an incredible view of the ocean immediately in front.
