House sit SELBY

Accessing everyday essentials typically involves a short drive. Nearest supermarkets and a modest selection of shops are found in Belgrave or Upwey, both a ten to fifteen-minute car journey down winding roads. Without a vehicle, the local bus service provides connections, primarily linking to Belgrave station for train service into the city. Planning trips for groceries or pet supplies becomes part of the routine, rather than a spontaneous errand. Beyond practicalities, Selby encourages immersion in its natural setting. Discovering local swimming spots in Menzies Creek during warmer months, or enjoying the quiet of your garden with a pet, becomes a genuine pleasure. Small, independent cafes dot surrounding townships like Belgrave, offering a local spot for morning coffee. Sunday mornings might involve a visit to the Belgrave Big Dreams Market for fresh produce, accessible by car or a careful bus connection. This Dandenong Ranges environment shapes daily life, from cooler evenings to kookaburra calls, making home and pet care a serene experience.
