House sit Huskisson

Start the day with the rhythm of the bay. A pre-sunrise walk along the Huskisson foreshore path offers serene views for you and a gentle start for your furry charge. The path, extending past Shark Net Beach, is ideal for a leashed morning stroll before the village stirs. Many local dogs know this route well. After the walk, perhaps pause at one of the cafes along Owen Street; several welcome well-behaved dogs at their outdoor tables. This provides a natural pause for coffee and allows the pet to observe the local comings and goings. Remember to check local signage for specific beach access rules – some areas like Moona Moona Creek are often popular for a paddle with pets, but restrictions apply elsewhere. Midday often involves a quiet spell at home, respecting the animal's usual rest period and enjoying the house's comforts. Afternoon light invites another gentle walk, perhaps exploring the quiet back streets towards Orion Beach for a change of scenery. Groceries are easily managed with the local IGA, or a short drive to Vincentia for larger supplies. As evening approaches, a final walk along the path under the darkening sky before settling in. Living here means embracing a calmer pace, where the pet's routine naturally dictates the day, making the house a peaceful base amidst the gentle hum of coastal life.
