We have an energetic pound puppy who is 11 months old. He's is a shar pei X called Milo who has a large deck and fenced yard to play (but needs a 40 minute walk most days) and sleeps in the bathroom at night - he loves people (once properly introduced). We also have a gentle cat called Luna who is also a rescue pet that stays inside at all times. Luna and Milo kind of get along ok, but do need supervision (the cat is totally the boss of the dog). Hence the reason the dog sleeps inside the bathroom at night - it's best to separate them for a good night's sleep... They both need feeding, cat litter cleaned, deck cleaned off of you-know-what, fresh water etc. We also have a timid guinea pig called Nugget who recently lost her sister Scruffy, she seems to be doing fine and her outdoor hutch needs weekly cleaning, and a daily freshen up with extra straw. We live in a house surrounded by gum trees in a quiet dead end street leading to a beautiful bush reserve, but only 15 minutes drive to beautiful Central coast beaches. We also have a swimming pool which needs regular cleaning of leaves, but only if you want to use (can just leave cover on if you don't)...
