We require a very special person or couple to house sit a large historic home on a station short distance from Longreach in western Qld. The home would not suit young children due to stairs and many French glass doors with delicate glass. The garden would need to be watered and maintained. There is no pets to look after, but we would be happy if the house sitters had their own very well behaved pet with them. There are bedrooms downstairs and also bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom on each level as well. The house is very peaceful, comfortable, air-conditioned and furnished. WE adore the house and don't just want "anybody" in there. It would suit somebody who enjoys some history, some gardening and who may like to explore the region whilst they are housesitting. Would also be welcome to keep a caravan in the garden area if that was an option as well. Would be happy to elaborate further on a telephone call.
