House sit Port Elliot

Morning light filters through the gums as you settle into the quiet rhythm of Port Elliot. Your days likely begin with a slow walk toward the Esplanade, where the salty air dictates the pace of life. If you are watching a dog, the stretch of sand between the Long Beach cliffs and the jetty provides ample room for long, energetic morning trots. After the dogs are settled, a short stroll brings you to the local café strip for a coffee before the midday heat sets in. Midday hours are best spent wandering the coastal trails or browsing the small shops tucked along the main road. The town feels intimate, meaning you can easily walk to the local markets or find a quiet bench overlooking the ocean to read. Evening brings a stillness that makes caring for a home feel restorative rather than a chore. Once the sun dips, the coastal breeze cools the streets, making it easy to walk home under a clear sky.
