Assignment Requirements

We are situated on a farm that our son operates, approximately 25kms from the town of Mullewa and 125kms from Geraldton. The locality of Mullewa and surrounds is well know for wildflowers during August and September.

Unfortunately we don't know the exact date we will be leaving as we are waiting on new batteries for our van, which we are hoping will be here next week. This is our first adventure in our caravan so are hoping to be away for a month to six weeks.

We have a large garden including vege garden, a cat called Bonnie, 3 canaries and 15 chickens. We would like the sitter to have their own caravan for accommodation if possible with use of our alfresco area, bathroom and toilet.

Your routine will likely revolve around caring for Bonnie our cat, perhaps going for a walk along the bush tracks around the house and farm. These walks offer a peaceful way to stretch your legs and observe the changing light across the landscape before returning to the stillness of the home. Then tending to the girls (chickens) picking some greens from the vege garden as they love those, checking on our 3 canaries and then perhaps splashing a bit of water around the garden. You could venture off around the local area looking at the wildflowers or visit our local artist in Mullewa or taking a trip into Geraldton.
