House sit BARGARA

Mornings in Bargara often start early, the sea breeze carrying a salt tang. Your days will naturally fall into a gentle pattern here. A dawn walk along the extensive coastal pathway, perhaps with your charge padding alongside, offers views of the coral sea. The path stretches from Kellys Beach past Bargara Beach, providing ample opportunity for your host's dog to explore new scents. Post-walk, consider a coffee at an Esplanade cafe, many welcoming pets outdoors. Afternoons invite longer strolls to Kellys Beach rock pools or a quiet read in a shaded park. Groceries are conveniently located, making errands a quick affair, fitting neatly between pet feeding times. Evenings bring a different calm. You might find yourself watching the sunset from the foreshore, the day's last light reflecting on the water. Here, the ocean's rhythm dictates much, encouraging a relaxed approach to your responsibilities. Weekends open up options beyond the immediate foreshore. Consider a cycle or drive to Mon Repos Conservation Park, where boardwalks weave through the dunes, a peaceful retreat suitable for leash walks. During turtle season, the interpretive centre offers unique nighttime experiences. For a change of scenery, the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens are a short drive, providing expansive walking trails amidst diverse flora. Bargara remains charmingly self-contained, where your most pressing decision is often which direction to take for your next coastal wander.
