Our confirmed sitter has cancelled recently so we are desperately seeking a house/pet sitter to keep Piglet, our French Bulldog company while we head up north to visit family over the holidays!

Piglet is a beautiful old gal who is happy to be around humans and go for a gentle walk a couple of times a week. As she is a Frenchie, she has a few issues that we need to keep an eye on: weather - if it's over 32 degrees, it's best for Piglet to stay inside as she has a tendency to overheat; itching/allergies - Piglet's skin is sensitive and doesn't respond well to human food (except cucumber and carrot), she has medicated baths and injections once a month (you'll not need to worry about this) but if she is itching very badly or consistently then a supplemental medication may need to be given.

Our home is a little over 3 years old, having purchased it brand new in 2016. It is clean and modern with a Scandi influence. The tiles keep the house nice and cool on a hot day but after many days of hot weather there is an evaporative cooler.

Sunshine is reminiscent of Footscray about 5 years ago, pre-gentrification, although there are some welcomed signs (cafes!) of this coming through. Sunshine West is a quiet, predominately older demographic community.

We are a 3 minute walk to the bus stop which takes you directly to Sunshine Station so you can easily get to the CBD (25 minutes). Take a walk along the Kororoit Creek Trail to visit our favourite weekend coffee spot, Sadie Black Cafe located in Albion (20 minutes).

Local shops (green grocer, butcher, Vietnamese bakery, post office, chemist) are 5 minute walk away. We'd recommend popping into VN Wrap 'n Roll for a delish bahn mi and Vietnamese iced coffee! Sunshine Social is a charcoal chicken inspired restaurant also a short walk away - their fish burger is fab!
