Unfortunately do to Covid 19 all our flights have now been cancelled. We will try and rebook but I doubt that will be until April 2021. I will leave this advert up and redo dates and get in touch with the applicants when I know more. Cheers Mark

Hi there. We need house sitters to look after our home whilst we are away. Our home is on just under and acre of rainforest and is very private. Being winter there will be no real garden maintenance except the occasional blow vac of paths and driveway as well as scooping leaves out of the pool. We have 1 dog (6 year old Kelpie cross) that is really happy to be inside and loves a cuddle. The only exercise required is throwing a ball around the backyard each day, 1 cat and 3 fish in an outside pond. Our house is 15 mins drive from the local supermarket and 15 mins to the M1 for travel to the Gold Coast or Brisbane. There is a good coffee shop, corner store and local hotel 5 minutes drive from the house. A car will be required by the house sitters. Cheers Mark

Suburb Insights
Waking up to the mist rolling over the rainforest canopy sets a quiet, rhythmic pace for your stay. Most mornings begin with a slow walk along the Scenic Rim trails or a wander through the local herb gardens, allowing you to clear your head before tending to the garden or checking on the resident dogs. The cool mountain air makes long treks through the subtropical bushland feel effortless, especially when following the shaded paths near the various lookout points. Weekends revolve around the local café strips and the bustling farmers' markets, where you can pick up fresh sourdough and seasonal produce for a quiet evening at the house. After a morning of exploring the winding mountain roads, you might find yourself sitting on a deck watching the sunset over the valley. While the coast is accessible via a drive down the range, the mountain offers a stillness that encourages a slower lifestyle. Caring for a home here means embracing this solitude and the gentle requirements of highland living.
