Looking for someone to housesit and care for our dog Roo, the 2 year old mastiff X staffy for 2 weeks in July. Roo is a sweet, loving and cuddly - but sometimes boisterous dog who love to play and chew. She loves to cuddle on the couch and a chew toy with treats inside will keep her very happy if she’s home alone during the day.

We are looking for someone who is home most nights to keep her company, but she’s fine left alone during the day. She’s not that great on a lead and coming in at 35kg she does pull and sniff but we would just ask that could be walked twice a week while we are away.

We have a 3 bedroom house in a central location with one bathroom, and a great big deck. You will not be required to do any yard maintenance or anything other than enjoy your stay and look after our girl Roo as described.

Because of Roo’s size and the fact that she rules the house we don’t suggest that a family stays, but if you have a dog we could consider that as she would love a play mate.
