Assignment Requirements

Dear Potential House-Sitter/s,

I am seeking an interested, reliable, all-rounder, house-proud House Sitter (preferably mature-aged/retired person, who is available for the estimated dates to be confirmed (May-August 2020) whilst I am working Interstate. Do you enjoy the beach? the great outdoors? gardening? a bush-walk? a coffee?

If Yes, then this sea-change may be ideal for you! A house-sit and a Holiday all in one.

My lovely residence will be perfect for your house-sit located in beautiful Merewether Heights, where everything is at your front-door-step!

You will have access to one level of the home-spacious bedroom, main bathroom, kitchen and lounge-room (with TV), not to mention a wonderful garden to enjoy, whilst sitting on the sea-breeze swept patio. The perfect location to enjoy a read of your favourite book, or just take time to tune into the best that nature holds!

You will have access to local Laundromat just down the road at Merewether (as laundry is on alternative level)

Parking is available at bottom drive-way-double sided and front of house kerb-side.

I would love for the following to be fulfilled, during your stay:

* Watering of pot plants/garden, when needed-if you are a green-thumb, you may manicure the garden, to your hearts content :-)

* Collection of mail from letter box-daily on weekdays

*Keeping front yard/footpath grassed area neat and tidy (occasional sweep/rake) when needed

* In general, maintaining tidiness of property, as if it were your own

Thank You, for your interest in house-sitting my property.

Suburb Insights
Mornings in Merewether Heights begin with a slow rhythm, ideally centered around the local coastline. Since the house serves as a quiet sanctuary, your routine will likely revolve around early walks to the cliffs or exploring the nearby coastal paths. The dogs will appreciate the salt air and the stretches of sand where they can wander freely. Once the morning exercise is complete, the nearby café strips offer a reliable spot for a quiet coffee before retreating back to the calm of the home. Afternoons suit a more relaxed pace, perhaps wandering through local parks or checking out the seasonal markets if the timing aligns. The suburb feels tucked away from the more hectic coastal hubs, making it an ideal base for those who prefer solitude. Keeping the pets settled is easy when you have easy access to walking trails that lead away from the busier streets. Life here moves at the speed of the tide, allowing you to focus on the small, steady tasks of pet care and home maintenance.
