House sit Highpoint City

Your stay in Maribyrnong, centred around the Highpoint locale, offers a rhythm distinct from inner-city bustle. Mornings here often begin with a stroll along the Maribyrnong River Trail, a tree-lined path ideal for canine companions to explore. The river's gentle curves provide ample space for exercise. Accessing fresh produce is convenient; beyond Highpoint's grocery options, local greengrocers dot nearby streets for quick stops. For a taste of the neighbourhood, discover quiet cafes tucked away in the Edgewater precinct or along Hampstead Road, where good coffee and a pastry offer a welcome break. The strong Vietnamese influence found a short tram ride south in Footscray offers authentic noodle soups or banh mi, perfect for an evening meal after house duties. The Route 82 tram provides a direct connection through residential streets, making explorations without a car straightforward. Afternoons can involve a visit to Burndap Park, a tranquil green space where city sounds fade into bird calls, ideal for quiet contemplation or for pets to enjoy supervised off-leash time. The local pace is generally unhurried away from the retail hub, allowing for genuine immersion into suburban Melbourne life. Evenings invite a quiet return home, perhaps with a book by the window, observing the lights along the river, settling into a comfortable routine caring for the home and its resident animals.
