We have a 5 year old Queensland cattle dog who, as long as people are around, is the sweetest, most lovely pooch. He is a rescue dog, and a year on, still has paranoias. He does not enjoy being left alone, and we would prefer a sitter who is more at home, than out. He is walked once a day, but of course would relish more! Opposite to our expectations, he doesn’t need endless activities, but will tend to follow you around the house. Doesn’t chase balls, but loves sniffing and chatting with other dogs.

The house also has many plant pots inside. Depending on the weather they may be ok without attention, but a sitter with an understanding of gardens/plants would be a bonus. If it’s dry again some of the garden may need watering, but it’s well mulched, and can probably look after itself.

We live on a very community oriented street where everyone knows everyone else business. If there are any issues all our neighbours will be happy to help out.
