House sit POTTS POINT

The Potts Point morning unfolds with a gentle hum, not a rush. Your day often begins with a walk to Rushcutters Bay Park, where dogs chase balls and residents greet each other by name. The path along the water offers views across the bay, a quiet start to any day's duties. Returning, a quick detour past one of the many cafes on Macleay Street for an oat flat white becomes a natural extension of your pet's routine, before settling back into your temporary home. Afternoons here are about easy access. Groceries are a short stroll to Coles or Harris Farm, past leafy avenues where jacarandas bloom in season. For a change of pace, a walk down to Woolloomooloo’s Finger Wharf offers more harbour views and a different atmosphere. Needing to venture further, Kings Cross Station provides swift train connections, ensuring appointments or city outings are straightforward without relying on a car. Your pet’s needs often dictate your pace, allowing you to absorb the rhythm of this compact, historic precinct. Evenings in Potts Point soften, with residents gathering at local bistros or simply enjoying the quiet of their homes. A final evening stroll around the block offers a chance to observe the architecture, from Art Deco apartments to grand Victorian terraces. The area's inherent walkability means you’re never far from your doorstep, ensuring your pet’s comfort and your own ability to wind down after a day of caretaking. This allows for a settled feeling, embedding you into the daily life of the neighbourhood.
