Consider an early morning walk along the unsealed roads towards the creek, where your charges can sniff out new scents away from traffic. This gentle start sets a tranquil tone for settling into your temporary home. The perimeter track around the old recreation ground also provides a safe, contained space for some off-leash exercise, if appropriate for your companions. After walks, a stop at the village's general store offers a warm brew and the chance to pick up any forgotten pet supplies, or local produce should you prefer to cook at home. The slow pace means fewer distractions, fostering a calm environment for pets and allowing you to observe their individual needs more closely. Afternoons here invite quiet reading on the verandah or exploring nearby unpaved trails on foot, enjoying the vast Mendooran landscapes.
