Hi, our home is located in the outer Eastern suburbs of Melb. It is close (walking distance) to a large shopping centre that includes extensive public transport to all parts of Melb. The home is close to the wine growing area of the Yarra Valley with quick access to the mountains and the snow fields. A two car carport and drive provides ample parking. The home is located at the top of a very quiet court.
The home is solid brick and has large North facing windows in the living areas which provides for excellent winter solar gain. All living areas are carpeted and the the home includes an alarm system, central heating, dish washer and a well appointed kitchen.
Outside- no lawns to mow, a small undercover garden will need water, a large bird aviary that will require the auto feeders/water topping up every 4 or 5 day.
A gate through our back fence provides access to a large council park.
A few considerations- NO smokers - No cats - we have a small dog which accesses our laundry through a 'dog door' but we would have no objections to a well controlled animal. Our dog will be taken care of by our daughter, her husband will be the 'go too' person on any issues regarding the home.
We would expect payment for gas & electricity consumed during the sit. (not including service or admin fees charged by the supplier) As these are paid D.D. following our return, we would provide copies of the accounts covering the sit dates.
We would be delighted to hear from any person interested who wished to spend some quality time in a very nice home, in a quiet location, in a lovely part of the valley, during a Melbourne winter.
