About the Area

NORTH YUNDERUP South West, Western Australia

Suburb Insights

North Yunderup is a lovely, laid-back spot where life revolves around the water. You’re only a couple of minutes from the Murray River and the Peel Estuary, and it’s common to see dolphins cruising past while you’re out on a walk or in a kayak. In summer the locals are out crabbing and boating, and if you’ve ever wanted to try catching your own dinner, this is the place to do it. The Ravenswood pub is close by and a favourite for a meal by the river, with live music and Mandurah’s foreshore and marina are only ten minutes’ drive. If you’re here in December, the canal Christmas lights in Mandurah are well worth seeing. They’re one of the biggest summer attractions . For day trips, Dwellingup and its forest trails are about half an hour away, and the South West wineries and beaches are an easy weekend drive. It’s quiet and private here, but you’re never far from anything you need. Other key features: Proximity to the Kwinana Freeway, Train Station. Area is serviced by Uber and Uber Eats.
